Tea Is A Warm Hug Wobbly Porcelain Boxed Mug by East of India

This elegant conical wobbly porcelain mug from East of Inda is beautifully produced, with the ribbing from the potter’s wheel apparent in the mug surface. It is a pale cream colour, with a clear glaze. The surface is imprinted with grey lettering set at jaunty angles. A beautiful black line-drawn illustration of a row of houses and trees, along with birds flying overhead is etched into the centre. The words “Tea is a warm little hug in a mug” are found next to this illustration along a dot-effect line running through the middle of the piece.
